Rainbow

 INTRODUCTION

           Hey look MOMMY! It's a beautiful rainbow! Do you know how they form of course not. They form in a very complicated process. Well it's basically formed when sunlight reacts with rain in a specific way. The beams of sunlight separate into colors as they enter a raindrop. Sunlight is made of different colors not seeable to us. The light is white to us but when it hits a raindrop in a certain angle the colors that make up the beam so we can see them in a form of a rainbow. The angle for each color of the rainbow is different because the lights come down in different speeds. The sunlight exits the raindrop in one color depending on the angle it came so wee only see one color of the raindrop. They can come in many different colors. If you want to see a rainbow make sure to face your back against the sun. So basically rainbows form when sunlight reacts with rain in a certain way.

MY OPINION

                             In my opinion I think that rainbows are a real phenomenon. I think this because rainbows form in a very peculiar way and it is very beautiful. I think that people will like this because people have seen a rainbow many times and they would like to know how it occurs.

Aurora Borealis

INTRODUCTION

               Hey look it's a streaming light across the sky! So bright and colorful! Only on rare occasions will you see aurora borealis {Northern Lights or southern} this unless your Santa Claus! HAHAH! Well these amazing phenomenons only happen on the north and south pole. Your probably thinking how do these things occur? Well in fact it's hard to believe it's starts from the sun. Solar winds carrying sun particles move at 1 million miles toward earth. 40 hours after leaving the sun they follow the path of the magnetic force generated by earth's core and go through the magnetosphere. As these electrons enter earth's atmosphere they meet atoms of oxygen and nitrogen. They strike and create aurora borealis. The magnetic sphere and atoms react with one another causing them to shift or move. These lights generally occur along auroral ovals which center on magnetic poles and correspond with Artic and Antartic  circles. Thomas Edison your not the first one to produce light mother nature did!

MY OPINION

                              I think that aurora borealis is amazing. I think this because it's once in a life time you see a light in the sky that is naturally made. I think that people will like this topic because a lot of people     have seen it and are wondering how it's made.

Muhammad Ali's Life

 

INTRODUCTION

      Muhammad Ali The People's Champion is won of the greatest idols and boxers of all time. His actions were incredible he has the heart of a lion and gets what ever he wants. Today I'm going to tell you all there is to know about Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali was born on January 17,1942 in Louisville,Kentucky. Muhammad was raised in an African American middle-class family. He met an officer and told him that he saw a thief and was going to beat him up. The officer told him them to start boxing and then Muhammad boxed because of the officer Joe.E.Martin. This is where the true legend begins. His amatuer record for boxing was 100 wins and 5 losses. He also won the lightweight championship in the 1960 Summer Olympic games. WOW AMAZING! But he through away one of his most precious medals bacause he wasn't given service in a white restaurant and got into fights with some white people. Ever since, he was angry and started fighting for civil rights but didn't let it affect his boxing. Muhammad made a huge upset in 1964 when he won against Sonny Liston. In his profecional career he made an outstanding record of 56 wins 37 tko's and 5 losses. Muhammad was considered one of the greatest boxers of all time if not the greatest of all time. Although, he was a great boxer his accomplishments are exceeding even outside of the ring. Muhammad protested against descrimanation of black people. He also was ressisted to be part of the military and was striped of his belt. Even though, he was ressisting to be part of the US military and fight in the Vietnam War, you can't force him to do what he doesn't want to do and it's unfair to no longer put him as the heavyweight champion. Muhammad had a nice family. He married Belinda Boyd and together they made four children Maryun,the twins Jamilah and Rasheda, and Muhammad Ali Jr. His dad paints billboards and signs. Muhammad's mom was a household domestic. His brother is Cassius Marcella Sr. is a descendent of a pre- Civil War era American slavesand is of primarily African-American, with Irish and English ancestry. Muhammad Ali was able to win against Linston in 1964 to win championship, has a record of 56 wins 37 tko's and 5 losses. He also fought for his civil rights. Muhammad also ressisted to fight for America in the Vietnam War.

                                One of Muhammad Ali's famous quote is ''He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.'' This means that if you don't take risks in life you will accomplish noting. So if your afraid to fail you will succeed in nothing. I think that this quote was important because he's giving you advice that is essential to becoming who you want to be. If you can't take risks you will never be the person you dreamed of being. Another one of his famous quote is '' Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.'' This means that if you want to stay here on Earth you have to be nice to others. I think that this quote teaches a valuable lesson because he is trying to create world peace and teach people to be nice to other people. He is saying that you were put on this Earth and you should pay the price by treating others. The last quote is ''It isn't the mountain ahead to climb that wears you out; it's the pebble in your shoe that is.'' I think this demonstrates that it isn't anybody else or obstacle that is holding you down it's yourself. It's all mind over matter. Anything is possible and you can accomplish anything only if you put your mind to it. I think this quote is inspiring because it always pushes me to do my best no matter what happens.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND IMPACT

                                   As said in the first paragraph in the introduction Muhhamad Ali protested against discrimination of the blacks. This impacted the world because one of the reasons black people have there rights is because of Muhammad. He did everything of his power and made famous quotes to support that discrimination of African-Americans. Another one of his accomplishments was he beat Liston in 1964 to win the heavyweight championship. This affected the world because it inspired many people that you can do anything and showed people that black people can do anything white people can do. The last accomplishment is that he denied to be part of US army in the Vietnam War. This made him striped off his championship and suspended. This made white people mistreat people more and not like Muhammad Ali.

The Legend of Hercules

INTRODUCTION

                            Hercules the strongest mortal son of Zeuss is more than you think. He faced challenges not even the angels could face. This man showed me the true meaning of daring and determination. I know your wondering this is just like the movie The Legend of Hercules recently showed but no that version was edited I will tell you how it's suppose to be. I think. Hercules comes from the strongest god zeuss which is why he is so strong. However his step mom Hera is jealous of Zeuss with all the woman and thought to punish Hercules. She sent to incredebly strong vipers in his crib as a baby and Herrcules squeezed there throats like it was his last days and killed them. Ever since Hera hated him. When he was a grown up he got married and made 2 children. But Hera wanted him to know no happiness so she made a spell and made him think that his family were his enemies. So he slayed his wife and his 2 children. After the spell wore out he was devistated and never new that he killed them. Then he started to live in Greek that was taken over by a king. He was mistreated forced to fight for that country. Every man died in the war exept him and another man. They were sent to a place where slaves fight and people gain money. He won but his friend got demolished. He was forced to fight on and on and still stood victourious. Until he came a fight against the strongest of foes if victory they will be free and live happily in Greece. It was a great fight and they won barely. They were set free but the king that concered Greece hated Hercules he was the only one to stop him. So he tied his arms to heavy rock and whipped his back. When he saw his best of friends assasinated right in front of his eyes he awakened. He took the rocks and hit the soldiers along with his surviving friends. He escaped and went for the castle. Madly he struck everyone with lightning demolishing them all and headed to the king. He slayed the horrible king and reclaimed Greece for his people. Hercules was also able to defeat a invincible lion by choking it to death.

MY OPINION

                                  In my opinion I think that Hercules is strong and daring. I think this because he defeated a invincible lion by choking him not with a sword or anything. I think that people will like this topic because he is really famous for his power but nobody knows his backround.
